Competition for projects for local Ukrainian NGOs aimed at supporting ATO / OOS (JFO) veterans
The IREX Veterans Reintegration Program announces a competition for projects for local Ukrainian NGOs aimed at supporting ATO / OOS (JFO) veterans for funding of a minimum of $ 25,000 and a maximum of $ 75,000. Applications are accepted until August 10, 2021.
GRANT INFORMATION
This Request for Proposals is looking applicants from local organizations to carry out activities aimed at supporting veterans. The overall goal of this activity is to increase access to professional opportunities and psychosocial support for ATO / OOS (JFO) veterans, including veterans living in both urban and rural areas, both men and women of all ages, and people with disabilities. One organization or consortium of organizations may submit a maximum of two proposals.
PURPOSE OF FINANCING AND RESULTS
This Request for Proposals aims to achieve the following objectives of the Veterans Reintegration Program:
- provide support in employment and vocational training to veterans, including the most vulnerable groups of veterans to ensure the expansion of veterans'
- access to capable and responsive psychosocial services.
Strengthening the positive image of the veteran community in Ukraine will be seen as a result.
