#NEF Personal brand as a tool

2022.09.30

Everyone is probably familiar with the situation: you make a decision to order a service or product based on recommendations.

Recommendations work in the same way when it comes to a personal brand.

At the event "Recognition and Trust: Personal Brand as a Tool", Dmytro Melnykovych explained why it is important to develop a personal brand and shared seven steps to develop a personal brand as an instrument of influence.

In the digital age, everyone has an incredibly influential tool - social media, which is their own personal media. And the way you develop these media determines your visibility and how your followers perceive you.

Often, people refuse to promote their social media pages mainly because of fear and uncertainty, as well as because they do not want to spend time on it. But as soon as they realise that developing a personal brand helps to increase awareness, recommendations and, consequently, income, they understand that it makes sense, and over time, it becomes a habit.

Many people think that having a personal brand means being a blogger. But this is not entirely true. Each of us already has a personal brand, we just don't always devote enough time to it, especially in digital communication channels.

A personal brand is about trust, expertise and influence.

We thank the participants for their active participation, questions and interest in the topic! Stay tuned for our updates, the next interesting events are coming soon.

The event was held as part of the New Economy of Ivano-Frankivsk (NEF) project, which is a project that envisages the transformation of the city into a competitive innovative economic centre. The project is being implemented by a consortium of partners: The Executive Committee of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, the innovation centre Promprylad.Renovation, the urban laboratory METALAB, the economic development agency PPV Knowledge Networks, and the Teple Misto platform.
