#SF As part of the "Safe Future" project, we continue to share information about data-centers and their applications

2023.06.27

As part of the "Safe Future" project, we continue to share information about data-centers and their applications. Data processing centers are centralized information repositories. They include server farms and network equipment that store, process and distribute vast amounts of data for customers. Data-centers can offer services such as data warehousing, data analysis, data storage, and more.

In general, there are many data-centers of various types and sizes around the world. In addition, to large international companies, data-centers are also used by small and medium businesses, as well as law enforcement agencies, in order to ensure law and order and prevent dangerous situations. High speed, reliability and guaranteed security are the criteria that make data-centers more and more in demand.

The project "Safe Future" (SF, 1HARD/4.3/36) is implemented within the framework of the Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 with co-financing from the European Union ENI CBC Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 . The project aims to build four data centers in each of the partner cities: Ivano-Frankivsk, Solotvino, Baia-Mare and Sighet. The data center in Ivano-Frankivsk will be located in a public building at the «Rukh» stadium.
