#ALTHERA As part of the implementation of the project, modern diagnostic equipment was installed

As a part of the implementation of the "ALTHERA – Alternative therapies in Maramures and Ivano-Frankivsk" project, modern diagnosis equipment – electroencephalograph and electroneuromyograph, which are used to detection various neurological pathologies and diseases and allow to determine indicators of bioelectrical activity of the brain, speed of conduction of impulses along nerve fibers, condition of peripheral nerves and neuromuscular apparatus – has been installed in the department  of alternative therapy on the basis of  Ivano-Frankivsk municipal institution Central City Children's Hospital.

Such modern functional diagnostics is extremely necessary for the treatment of little patients with central nervous system, because it is a high-quality observation that provides the possibility of further effective therapy, the result of which is maintaining of health community's children.   

 «ALTHERA – Alternative therapies in Maramures and Ivano-Frankivsk» (1HARD/4.1/37) project is implemented within the framework of Joint Operational Programme Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020, with the co-financing of the European Union ENI CBC Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 and will have important role in increasing of the quality of life of children with such diseases and their families.
