#NEF Design as a business - 22 September
We will talk about industrial design and its business component. We invite entrepreneurs, manufacturers, business representatives, architects who use design in their activities, product designers who want to develop design as a business, and customers for whom the value of a product lies in a successful business model and high-quality design.
At the event, we will talk about:
- business models - how to strengthen them and how to acquire business competencies, that is, how to really make money in the field of industrial design
- access to infrastructure - spaces and laboratories - for the development of new quality products
- culture of intellectual property for a design product
The event will bring together people working in the field of industrial design in the Frankivsk market and the region. It is an opportunity for the community to get to know each other, share experiences, successes and pains in the field of design and production. With the facilitation of Metalab and PPV Knowledge Networks, we will reveal the problems in the field of industrial design and develop a number of solutions to stimulate the development of the industrial design market in the city and the region.
The event is part of the New Economy of Ivano-Frankivsk (NEF) project, which is a project that envisages the transformation of the city into a competitive, innovative economic centre. The project is being implemented by a consortium of partners: The Executive Committee of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, the innovation centre Promprylad.Renovation, the urban laboratory METALAB, the economic development agency PPV Knowledge Networks, and the Teple Misto platform.
