Children went to Poland for summer rehabilitation
Forty children went to the Polish city of Rybnik for summer rehabilitation. This initiative provides children going through difficult times with an opportunity to get positive impressions and relax. Among them are children of the families of those killed or missing, as well as children of combatants.
Thanks to our twin cities, children have been able to go on summer recreation trips to different European cities for several years now. The most distant trip is planned to Braga in Portugal, and the nearest ones are to the cities of our friends in Poland: Rybnik and Chszanów, as well as to Nyiregyhaza in Hungary.
It is important that this tradition continues and expands to include new countries and cities. Programs like this show how important international cooperation and support is in difficult times.
These trips contribute not only to the physical improvement of children, but also to broadening their horizons and establishing friendly ties with their peers from other countries. They return home with new knowledge, skills and unforgettable impressions.
