#INSPIRE Inspiring environmental education: the path to a sustainable future

As part of the INSPIRE project - Inclusive and Nurturing Spaces for Progressive, Innovative, and Responsive Education, implemented under the Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine 2021–2027 program, we are actively developing eco-education as an integral part of the modern learning process.
Eco-education is the education of the future. It is not limited to lessons about nature, but shapes children's environmental awareness, responsibility, and respect for the environment from an early age. Thanks to environmental education, children learn to see the connection between humans and nature, realize the value of natural resources, understand how their actions affect the ecosystem, and make environmentally responsible decisions in their daily lives.
As part of the INSPIRE project, the eco-education component is integrated into inclusive educational programs so that every child, regardless of their characteristics or living conditions, has the opportunity to develop in harmony with nature. We want small actions today - waste sorting, water conservation, caring for plants and animals - to turn into big changes tomorrow. Together, we are raising a generation that not only knows about ecology, but also actively works for the good of the planet.
