#NEF Training "Exporting: how to start exporting in a month"
On December 14, another extremely useful training "Exporting: how to start exporting in a month" was held by Ostap Pavlyuk, owner of Growness Group. At the event, were talks about myths that exist about export and debunked them. For example, statement about how difficult it is to enter a foreign market, particularly in Europe, is not true, because for most types of products, the requirements that apply in Ukraine are sufficient, so do not be afraid to enter foreign market.
Ostap also shared his personal advice on how exactly to set up export and find clients, based on his own professional experience:
First of all, it is necessary to thoroughly approach the issue of choosing a market for export: to analyze economic indicators, interest in your product, research potential competitors, ease of opening a business. In many cases, it is the choice of the right market, which is the key to successfully establishing a business abroad. With time and acquired experience, you will be able to enter the market of any desired country.
Expand your customer base on your own. Cold calls are your best friend. Make as many calls as you can, create yourself a recognition, find partners, receive useful emails. Once you have built up your base, it is necessary to maintain it and continue to keep it interested. Send themed mails with seasonal product lists, discounts, and updates.
It is better if there will be personalized emails for each client. There were also many conversations with participants: they talked about their business, shared their concerns and plans for export, listened to Ostap's business development stories, advices and real-life cases.
