#NEF Training "How to support the psychological state of the team during the war"
It's Friday again, and we've had another great event - the training "How to support the psychological state of a team during the war" with speaker Natalia Mukhitdinova.
The war has made adjustments and difficulties in everyone's life, both at the personal level and at the team level. There are security, domestic, social, and personal difficulties that have a significant impact on the overall state of the team. So, here are the speaker's tips for managers on how to work with a team in such stressful situations:
Routine helps to get rid of stress. It is very important to set up the workflow so that there are no surprises, to establish certain rules and rituals that the whole team will follow on a daily and weekly basis. This brings a certain psychological certainty and stability that is so lacking in such uncertain times;
Personal support. You are now one of the few places for your employees to rely on and trust, so you need to avoid any stressful situations. To do this, you should solve problems at work as much as possible on your own, give only short, clearly defined tasks and short-term, tangible workloads.
Only a team that is capable of self-regulation can function in stressful situations. To achieve this, it is necessary to completely remove any kind of ridicule from the workplace etiquette, make it easy to admit to failures, create a culture of gratitude, do not hesitate to say "thank you" even for the smallest help, be as polite as possible and always give effective constructive feedback.
As for the managers themselves, don't forget about maintaining your own psychological state: don't be afraid to ask for support from friends and relatives, get some rest and establish a daily schedule, it really helps.
Thanks to all those present for their interest, follow the page, there are still many useful events ahead.
The training took place within the framework of the project "New Economy of Ivano-Frankivsk (NEF) - Support for New Clusters of Innovative Economic Activity in Ivano-Frankivsk," which is funded under the Mayors for Economic Growth program of the European Union.
The main task of NEF is to strengthen local economic processes in order to stimulate an innovative economy and encourage the creation of products with high added value in Ivano-Frankivsk. And also support new clusters (networks) of local businesses, innovators, researchers, and strengthen their interaction, in particular in the fields of applied science, subject design and sustainable construction. To become a city of innovation, Ivano-Frankivsk needs to have competitive innovators, scientists and entrepreneurs after the war.
The event was held as part of the New Economy of Ivano-Frankivsk (NEF) project, which is a project that envisages the transformation of the city into a competitive, innovative economic centre. The project is being implemented by a consortium of partners: The Executive Committee of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, the innovation centre Promprylad.Renovation, the urban laboratory METALAB, the economic development agency PPV Knowledge Networks, and the Teple Misto platform.
