#NEF How to create a lamp according to the open source model: step-by-step manufacturing instructions!
What is the best way to explain what the product workshop format is? Demonstrate the created product. Today we are talking about a lamp created during a product workshop, the development process of which consisted of two parts.
First, during the first workshop, the internal part was created - a battery that can be assembled in a small workshop or even at home from simple materials.
During the second part of the workshop, the team developed a model and produced the lamp body on a 3D printer in the Parasolka makerspace. By connecting both parts, we will get a modern designer lamp-flashlight, which anyone can make for their own needs. The peculiarity of the lamp-flashlight is not only an interesting design and relatively uncomplicated creation process, and convenient use: the lamp consists of three separate mini-cases, on which there are fasteners for location on different planes.
The first and main idea was to create a product with an open design based on the open source model. That is, anyone who has the instructions can create such a lamp.
Product workshops – this is a format within the New Economy of Ivano-Frankivsk project, during which you can create a new one, improve an existing product or service, create a prototype or test an idea, create multiple iterations of the product as needed. The team engages the necessary specialists and expertise according to the request. This direction in the project is coordinated by the urban laboratory METALAB.
