#Part4CM The global trend towards switching to electric vehicles is also spreading in Ukraine

2022.12.09

In November, Ukrainians purchased and registered 1,447 battery-electric vehicles (BEVs). Compared to last month the replenishment of the electric vehicle fleet slowed down, with a 10% drop from the October's result. However, compared to November last year, the demand for electric cars increased by almost 60%.

The bulk of electric vehicles registered in October were passenger cars - 1,383 units (278 new and 1,105 used). NISSAN Leaf remains the most popular electro car in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the year, more than 12 thousand BEVs have been registered in Ukraine for the first time, which is one and a half times more than in the same period in 2021. The increasing number of electric vehicles helps reduce harmful emissions and mitigates the negative impact on the environment.
And ensuring their use depends on the network of charging stations.

Therefore, as part of the "RO-UA Partnership for Climate Change Mitigation" project, a charging station for electric cars with solar panels will be installed in Ivano-Frankivsk, where it will be possible to both charge your car and receive useful information about its operation and environmental benefits.

The project «RO-UA Partnership for Climate Change Mitigation» (RO-UA PART4CM) project is financed by the European Union through the European Neighborhood Instrument and co-financed by countries participating in the ENI CBC Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 Program «Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020».
