#Part4CM A charging station for electric cars was opened in Ivano-Frankivsk
On January 27 a charging station with solar panels for electro cars, which was installed within the framework of the «RO-UA Partnership for Climate Change Mitigation» (Part4CM) project.
The project aims to develop and support innovative cooperation to mitigate climate change in the RO-UA cross-border region to ensure sustainable development by organizing a new educational and research environment in the field of energy efficiency, leading to climate change mitigation by 2022.
One of the stages of the project included the installation of innovative solar charging station in Ivano-Frankivsk with online monitoring of the generated energy and its consumption when charging cars. It was installed on an international platform, which was created to ensure the activities of the operator of charging stations based on the software of its own development.
The base of technologies (GO TO-U) – is charging time reservation and the most convenient service for our end users, thus the owner of an electric car can be sure of charging at the chosen time. No queues for users. Chargers are equipped with sensors to control the income of direct current, which protects from electric shock and increases safety of power grid. The charging case is waterproof and provides unimpeded functioning even in the harshest weather conditions.
The charging station for electric cars with solar panels is located at the address: Vyacheslav Chornovil st., 128, near "Rukh" stadium. The station has a place for simultaneous charging of two electric cars. Throughout the starting period of exploitation, charging at the station will be free.
«RO-UA Partnership for Climate Change Mitigation» (Part4CM) project is financed by the European Union through the European Neighborhood Instrument and co-financed by countries participating in the ENI CBC Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 Program «Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020».
