Working study visit of Ukrainian communities to the Republic of Poland!
A working study visit of Ukrainian communities to the Republic of Poland!
At the initiative of Polish partners STUDYTOURSTOPOLAND, representatives of Ivano-Frankivsk had a unique opportunity to visit Warsaw and Wroclaw, key centers of technological development in the Republic of Poland, for a study visit. This visit has become a real platform for sharing experiences, new ideas, and learning about effective approaches to governance, community development, and the implementation of innovative projects.
Participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work of leading Polish institutions, including:
Polski Fundusz Rozwoju Łukasiewicz - PORT, WPP - Wrocławski Park Przemysłowy, Polska Agencja Inwestycji i Handlu (PAIH), Centrum Przedsiębiorczości Smolna.
The program of the visit included:
- Familiarization with examples of successful municipal management in Poland.
- Visiting institutions specializing in business development, civil society, and infrastructure projects.
- Discussions on attracting investment, supporting startups, and developing the local economy.
- Establishing partnerships for further cooperation between the communities of Ukraine and Poland.
In the context of rebuilding Ukraine after the war, Poland's experience in transforming its communities after joining the EU is extremely valuable. Polish practices of integrating local communities into European standards are an excellent example of how effective governance can become a driver of sustainable development.
The event was organized thanks to the International Partnership Fund with the support of the Leaders of Change Foundation (Polish-American Freedom Foundation) in cooperation with the Lviv City Council.
We thank our Polish partners for their openness, support and readiness for joint initiatives! Together we are building strong communities for the prosperity of Ukraine!
