     Announcement of the results of the Competition for Support of Innovative Entrepreneurship Development in Ivano-Frankivsk City Territorial Community 2024

     On May 24, 2024, the winners of the 2024 Competition for Support of Innovative Entrepreneurship Development in Ivano-Frankivsk City Territorial Community, provided in the form of vouchers for the creative economy, were announced.
The competition was held within the framework of the project initiative "Creating Infrastructure for Businesses Affected by the War", which is being implemented under the project "Support for Rapid Economic Recovery of Ukrainian Municipalities" (SRER).

     The aim of the competition is to promote entrepreneurship and provide financial support to Ivano-Frankivsk microbusinesses in the form of innovation vouchers for the development of the creative economy in the city.

      The competition started on April 18 and lasted until May 7. Participants were microenterprises, individual entrepreneurs, and LLCs working in the creative economy.

      The competition committee determined the winners, in particular, the following criteria were taken into account

  • the impact of the project results on increasing business capitalization: creation of intellectual
  • creation of intellectual property, attraction of investments, etc;
  • impact of the project results on the commercial result: increase in sales, export growth, launch of new products or services;
  • project novelty: how innovative the project is for the company and the city;
  • project relevance.

     During the event, the organizers of the competition announced 10 winners who will receive funding of up to UAH 100,000 each for business development and innovation. The winners were the 10 participants who received the highest scores from the competition committee, such as:

1. Liubov Chernikova (production of clothing using embroidery), project: CRM: business transformation;
2. Natalia Stavnycha - GUSHKA (production of woolen products), project: Entering the international market of the UK;
3. Khomyn Lyubov - REDJAMPERS LLC (association of IT companies), project: Analytical tools for improving business processes of the RADJAMPERS agency;
4. Kondrin Marta - Shuflia (leather goods production), project: Increasing export potential and online sales for the Shuflia brand;
5. Stepan Yosypiv - Kiwiway concert agency, project: Organization of outdoor activities with Kiwiway concert agency;
6. Tetiana Kuzmenko - TK.brand (branded clothing workshop), project: Promotion of the local manufacturer of patriotic clothing TK.brand;
7. Tetiana Piddubna - PAVUK (straw products production), project: Expanding the production of straw jewelry;
8. Mykhailo Stepnov - Zhuzhyk (sewing wigwams and clothes for children), project: Creation of a new website for the Zhuzhyk trademark;
9. Ihor Shuplat - LEMKER (theater and artistic activities), project: Improving the marketing policy of LEMKER;
10. Serhii Neroda - Esports club: Arena 27, project: Arena 27: Open Cup.

       This competition was held within the framework of the project "Supporting the Rapid Economic Recovery of Ukrainian Municipalities" funded by the German Government. The project is being implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine.
