Now we have an oak of solidarity and support!
Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv together with Laurent Conversy, President of the Office for European and International Cooperation of Clichy (France), planted an oak tree in Shevchenko Park as a symbol of assistance to Ukraine in the war.
This sapling is a descendant of a mighty oak from the Potocki Palace. It was grown from a small acorn.
We are grateful to Mr. Laurent and his team, to the entire French people for their support: military, political and humanitarian. At the meeting, we discussed the prospects for further cooperation with the city of Clichy.
We are grateful to the French delegation for their visit and look forward to fruitful cooperation for the benefit of Ukraine! May our friendship grow and be as strong and unshakable as this oak tree in the future!
