Ivano-Frankivsk have a new partner in Germany
On Saturday, April 22, in Ivano-Frankivsk, a ceremonial signing took place of the Agreement on friendship and partnership between the Ivano-Frankivsk urban territorial community and the city of Potsdam (Germany). The agreement was signed by the Mayor of the city of Potsdam Mike Schubert, head of the Potsdam city council Pete Houer and Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv.
The agreement provides for cooperation and exchange of experience on the basis of equality, mutual benefit and mutual solidarity in the following areas: science, culture and art; education, youth and sports; economy and tourism; local government; medicine and health care; between institutions, organizations and local agencies.
We express our gratitude to the mayor of Potsdam Mike Schubert, deputy mayor Bernd Rubelt, head of the city council Potsdam Pete Houer and all delegation for visiting our city on the occasion of this important event. In times of difficulties and crises, cities and countries should unite to help each other and create more favorable conditions for the future.
We hope fruitful cooperation between our municipalities in the future.
