Rest for the closest relatives of fallen soldiers: mothers and wives went to Poland
The mothers and wives of the fallen defenders of the Ivano-Frankivsk community went on a 7-day vacation to Poland. Excursions, trips and the unforgettable atmosphere of old Polish cities await them abroad.
«During the war,Chrzanów and Chrzanów County sent us an invitation for the mothers of our fallen soldiers and their wives, so that they can take a little time off and relax on the territory of the Chrzanów County. This is for 7 days. Our delegation, our large group will have the opportunity to go on an excursion to Chrzanów, go to Kraków, to visit Oświęcim», - says the director of the Department of International Relations, Tourism and Promotion of the city Ulyana Basarab-Hanchak.
The mother of the well-known public activist, athlete Vitaly Merinov, who died in the war in March of this year, also decided to go on vacation. The woman says that she was last abroad 3 decades ago. After the tragedy, Ms. Nadezhda is sure that a trip of at least a week will be able to distract. Hope…
«I love to walk around the museum, I like this, I want to see something, go abroad,I was in Hungary 30 years ago, it was a long time ago, when I was working at another job. I'm shocked that I'm going somewhere, I'm satisfied. I took medicine from pressure, took everything, because how can a pension be without anything. I am grateful to the mayor, it is his merit that we can go somewhere and see something», - says Nadiya Merinova, the mother of the fallen Hero Vitaly Merinov.
«We communicate with mothers and wives. We have an organization in Ivano-Frankivsk. We have very beautiful girls and we always communicate and participate in all events. We expect positive impressions from the trip, at least a little to defuse all our negative moments in life that happened to us. I think we will be interested», - Victoria Kuzmenko, the wife of the fallen defender Oleksandr Kuzmenko, shares her expectations from the trip.
The community has been planning a similar vacation for women for a long time, says Ruslan Marcinkiv. And recently, the Polish city sent an invitation. The head of the city is confident, in such a difficult time for them, after the loss of the closest, widows and mothers need to unite and live on.
We sincerely thank our city-partner for this opportunity!
