      Ivano-Frankivsk has received another modern MAN fire truck of European design. It was brought to us from the German city of Fulda!

      The car is really good. It's easy to drive and reliable, says the firefighter-driver of the City Emergency Rescue Service. He adds that the vehicle is easier to drive and the entire dashboard is well thought out. The vehicle has a large tank for 5000 litres of water and a powerful engine that can deliver 250 litres of water per minute. The vehicle will be of great help to the MARS utility company!

       «This is a good gift for us. A gift for our community. Because we see the number of fires, even such fires, which, unfortunately, are increasing in our community. Extinguishing grass, extinguishing outbuildings. The area of the community has grown 6.5 times and, accordingly, we need good equipment. This technique is very good, appropriate, according to European standards, and will allow our Municipal Emergency Service to respond to all the challenges that today exist in the community», - says Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv.

       Earlier, Ivano-Frankivsk and the German city of Fulda signed an agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance. Under this agreement, the municipalities cooperate in the areas of education, healthcare, social policy, and project activities.
