        On February 22, 2024, a meeting of the working group on the preparation and implementation of grant projects was held headed by the Deputy Mayor Sviatoslav Nykorovych.

        The group was formed under the Executive Committee of the city council to raise additional funds for the city's socio-economic development. At the meeting, Ihor Popadiuk, Director of the Department of Investment Policy, Projects, International Relations, Tourism and City Promotion, told the participants about the applications prepared and submitted by the Department in cooperation with other city institutions for the Interreg NEXT Poland-Ukraine 2021-2027, Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine 2021-2027, Interreg NEXT Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2021-2027 programs, and the areas in which work is currently underway to prepare grant projects. He also spoke about new opportunities for attracting extrabudgetary funds, including Ukraine's accession to the Interreg Europe interregional cooperation program on January 1, 2024, which aims to improve policies and practices in local government.

        The key features of the program, conditions for joining and the necessary steps for a successful partnership were discussed. Information about the communication platform of the unified electronic ecosystem for restoration management DREAM (Digital Restoration Ecosystem for Accountable Management) was presented.

        The purpose of such meetings is to facilitate joint discussion of strategic directions of the city's development, exchange of ideas and views on effective ways to solve problematic issues, and strengthen cooperation in various fields.
