On 13 December, as part of the "ALTERA - Alternative Therapies in Maramures and Ivano-Frankivsk" project, a final press conference was held in Baia Mare, Maramures County, Romania, to discuss the project's achievements and results.

During the event, the results of the project "ALTERA - Alternative Therapies in Maramures and Ivano-Frankivsk" were summed up. (1HARD/4.1/37)

The project is funded by the European Union through the Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 ENI CBC Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020.

The main result of the project was the creation of a rehabilitation center for alternative therapy in Maramureș County, as well as on the basis of the Communal Non-Profit Enterprise “Ivano-Frankivsk City Children's Clinical Hospital of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council”. Both centers will specialize in the rehabilitation of children with diseases of the musculoskeletal system and central nervous system.

In addition to infrastructure components (namely, the renovation of hospital premises and the purchase of modern medical equipment), training for doctors and exchanges of experience with Romanian colleagues were conducted within the framework of the project.

The project team is grateful for the cooperation and support of our Romanian colleagues from Consiliul Județean Maramureș and General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Maramures, all participants and those involved in the project implementation!

The project ALTHERA – Alternative therapies in Maramures and Ivano-Frankivsk (1HARD/4.1/37) is implemented within the framework of the Joint Operational Program Romania Ukraine 2014-2020 with the co-financing of the European Union ENI CBC Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020.
