#CULTROUTE Culture, traditions, and a spectacular finale at the Potocki Palace

As part of European Heritage Days and within the framework of the “Thematic Route of Castles 2” project under the Interreg VI-A NEXT Hungary–Slovakia–Romania–Ukraine program, guests of the festival were presented with a colorful program where history, culture, traditions, and contemporary art forms came together in a single space.

Archery — guests could test their accuracy, take on the role of an archer, and get a closer look at traditional weapons from times past. This activity gave participants the opportunity not only to observe but also to actively participate in the festival program.

Tasting of national communities’ cuisines — a true journey through different cultures via their traditional dishes and flavors. Guests could taste a variety of dishes, learn more about culinary traditions, and discover the gastronomic diversity of the city’s national communities.

“Living Sculptures” was an unusual performance that brought the area around the palace to life. Artists dressed as sculptures amazed guests with their stillness, unexpected movements, and interaction with the audience. Thanks to this, a simple stroll through the palace grounds turned into a small theatrical adventure.

And as the evening came to a close, lights lit up the palace territory. The Fire Show served as a spectacular finale to the festival program and left the audience with a wealth of emotions.
