On October 16-17, the second meeting of the partners of the project “DAPHNE - Decarbonizing Healthcare in the EU Regions” took place in Malmö, Sweden. Among the issues discussed were the presentation of advanced technologies and best practices of the Nordic countries for energy efficiency in the healthcare system, presented by the project's advisory partner, the Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare (NCSH), and the implementation of a decarbonization roadmap on the examples of partners from Belgium and Ireland. There was also a summary of the results of the project's first period, which ended on September 30, and a meeting of the Project Steering Committee. Representatives of each of the partners made presentations on their findings within the framework of Trail I of the project - context analysis of energy efficiency of healthcare facilities and discussed the challenges they faced in collecting data and which may arise in the next stages of the project.
On October 17, a study visit to the Medicon Village Science Park in Lund was also held, where the partners got acquainted with advanced technologies and revolutionary solutions for heating and cooling with the E.ON ectogrid™ | A revolutionary heating and cooling solution.
