#DAPHNE NEX Adamson software product – an online tool for automated creation of energy certificates
As part of the DAPHNE project - Decarbonisation of Healthcare in EU Regions, implemented under the Interreg Europe program, we continue to share our partners' good practices. This time, we present an example of a technological initiative in the field of energy efficiency in Ivano-Frankivsk.
As part of our research into effective local practices, we present an example of a technological initiative in the field of energy efficiency. Adamson, a leader in energy efficiency implementation, has developed the NEX Adamson software product, an online tool for the automated creation of energy certificates.
Legislative changes in the field of energy efficiency, in particular the introduction of energy efficiency certificates, have created new market requirements. Adamson was one of the first companies to start working with this procedure at the national level. Practice has shown that the process of creating a certificate needs to be automated, as manual calculations are labour-intensive, prone to errors and risky for specialists.
NEX allows auditors to generate certificates in accordance with current regulations, automating all stages of calculation and document flow. The product is integrated with the state system EDESSB: certificates are generated in a format suitable for automatic uploading. External services for authorisation, payment and data verification are also connected.
Unlike its foreign counterparts, NEX was developed specifically for the Ukrainian market, taking into account local regulations. The product is aimed at a narrow audience of professional energy auditors, but the impact of the solution is systemic — it allows for scaling certification, lowering the threshold for entry into the profession, and improving the quality of energy monitoring.
Adamson's practice demonstrates how engineering expertise and industry vision can be converted into a specialised digital service with the potential to impact the industry as a whole.
