#DAPHNE Project Partners’ Meeting in Poland - Sharing Experiences and New Solutions for Decarbonizing Healthcare
On March 18-19, 2026, a meeting of partners of the DAPHNE project - Decarbonization of Healthcare in EU Regions, implemented under the Interreg Europe program, took place in Elk, Poland. The event brought together representatives of regions and healthcare institutions from various European countries to exchange experiences and develop joint solutions.
On the first day of the meeting, participants took part in a panel discussion focused on innovative solutions and achievements in the EU healthcare sector. Representatives from hospitals, municipalities, and organizations working to implement energy-efficient and sustainable approaches in the healthcare sector shared their experiences. Ukrainian participants in the discussion included representatives of the Central City Clinical Hospital of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, who shared the hospital’s experience and good practices in relation to the project’s theme.
A separate part of the program was a study visit to the “Pro-Medica” City Hospital and the municipal heating company in Elk, where participants were able to familiarize themselves with practical solutions in the field of energy management and the operation of medical infrastructure.
The second day of the meeting was devoted to discussing policy changes that the project partners are working on. During a special session, participants presented their progress, exchanged ideas, and discussed next steps for implementing new solutions in their regions.
Such meetings are an important part of the DAPHNE project, as they facilitate the exchange of knowledge, the dissemination of good practices, and the development of a more sustainable and energy-efficient healthcare system in Europe.
