Delegation from Ivano-Frankivsk took part in the 10th Interregional Forum "Europe, Let's cooperate"

2024.03.26

The Ivano-Frankivsk delegation took part in the 10th Interregional Forum "Europe, Let's cooperate" within the framework of the Interreg Europe programme in Antwerp, Belgium.

This event brought together leaders and innovators from different parts of Europe in order to establish new partnerships and exchange experiences between the regions of the EU countries. The forum program included the official opening of the 3rd contest of project applications, meetings with the secretariat of Interreg Europe, networking with other participants, study visits, which made it possible to establish new partnerships, get acquainted with the best practices of previous projects and opportunities for Ivano-Frankivsk to join current and future projects.

Our delegation also met with the programme coordinators of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional Development in Brussels, where they learned about the work of the European Commission's representatives on international cooperation projects.

Interreg Europe - is a programme of interregional cooperation aimed at improving policies and their instruments at the local, regional and national levels in the following areas: smart Europe, green Europe, socially responsible Europe, united Europe, and closer to citizens.
From January 1, 2024, Ukrainian communities for the first time had the opportunity to join existing projects and participate in the third competition of project proposals.
