#EdAH “Environmental Art” - the first inspired workshop of the School of Contemporary Art
“Environmental Art” - this was the name of the first inspired workshop of the School of Contemporary Art within the framework of the project “Educational-Artistic Horizons without Borders (EdAH)”, implemented withing the Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine program with the support of the European Union.
The event became a real combination of art and nature. The participants immersed themselves in the creative process in the open air, using natural materials, lines and shapes that the environment gave them. They not only contemplated the beauty of the surrounding world, but also became its co-creators - complementing nature with their own ideas, feelings and artistic vision.
During the event, we managed to work with a Kyiv-based dendrite researcher, Nataliya Lisova, who revealed to the participants the history of the formation of art, which is born in interaction with nature. She presented the most striking international examples and Ukrainian initiatives that inspire us to rethink our connection with the planet.
Workshop participants created original art objects filled with meaning and emotion. For many, it was a moment of self-discovery through creativity and a reminder that art is not just about form, but also about harmony with the environment.
The experience gave everyone a deeper understanding of the role of art in preserving nature and the inspiration to care for the world we live in.
