#EdAH Art in the form of a game!
Art in the form of a game! The first workshop for teenagers of the School of Contemporary Art took place in an unusual format - a board game about the history of contemporary art in Ukraine!
The event is implemented within the framework of the project “Educational-Artistic Horizons without Borders (EdAH)”, implemented withing the Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine program with the support of the European Union.
The game, created by artist Anna Potemkina, explores the themes of oblivion, discontinuity and nonlinearity of the history of art. Participants become the creators of this story - their actions, as in real life, depend on chance and their own efforts. A roll of the dice can change everything: from success to challenges, which emphasizes the realities of the creative path.
Game events cover the period from the independence of Ukraine to the Revolution of Dignity, but can be supplemented with modern stories. This makes the game lively, dynamic and close to the present.
We have become convinced that contemporary art can take the most unexpected forms - even in the format of a board game!
