#EdAH The City That Writes You: a Creative Writing Workshop

During the workshop, we set off together on a small journey through the city - not just a walk, but a real adventure of exploration through writing.

It all began with the participants’ ideas: we gathered places that hold meaning — for imagination, attention, or everyday life. These could be anything: from ruins, a registry office, or a market to almost invisible spots like sidewalks, intersections, or places we had long wanted to reach.

From these suggestions, we created a shared route and followed it together. Even though we had common rules, everyone experienced it in their own way: some observed, some wrote, some interacted, and some simply stayed in silence.

This event, organized by the School of Contemporary Art, took place within the project “Educational-Artistic Horizons beyond the Borders ”(EdAH)”,  implemented within the Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine 2021-2027 program with the support of the European Union. It was designed to bring together a shared route and deeply personal experiences of each participant, with a focus on documentary writing.
