#EdAH What Is Theatre, What Is Performance?

Within the framework of the project “Educational-Artistic Horizons beyond the Borders” (EdAH), implemented within the Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine 2021-2027 program with the support of the European Union, we spent two days immersing ourselves in the interconnected dimensions of contemporary performing arts - from the theory and history of theater and performance to embodied practice, attention, presence, and working with authentic impulses through movement.

The program included:

- conversations about theater and performance

- exploration of the theater space with Illia Razumeiko (including a backstage walk)

- movement practice with Dariia Bohdan

Day one - we explored key concepts, discussed expanded scenography, and walked through the theater from the other side of the stage.

Day two - a gentle practice of authentic movement: listening to the body, staying present, and trusting intuition.
