#EdAH From an Idea to a Real Product!

As part of the implementation of the project “Educational-Artistic Horizons beyond the Borders ”(EdAH)”, implemented within the Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine 2021-2027 program with the support of the European Union, another inspiring workshop dedicated to 3D printing and laser engraving technologies was successfully held.

Participants deepened their understanding of how digital manufacturing equipment works, learned more about preparing 3D models for production, and explored every key stage of the process—from developing an original concept to creating a finished prototype.

Using graphic design software, they created their own product designs, prepared them for printing and engraving, configured the equipment settings, and transformed their creative ideas into tangible objects.

During the practical session, participants not only produced the first prototypes of their designs but also gained hands-on experience with the entire digital manufacturing workflow—from a digital model to a finished product. They also explored the properties of different materials and the capabilities of modern digital fabrication technologies.

The workshop provided an excellent opportunity to enhance creativity, strengthen technical skills, and gain valuable practical experience with innovative manufacturing technologies.
