#EdAH FROM AN IDEA ON PAPER TO 3D: DISCOVERING “HIDDEN CREATIVITY”

As part of the implementation of the “Educational-Artistic Horizons beyond the Borders ”(EdAH)” project, implemented within the Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine 2021-2027 program with the support of the European Union, a round table was held to explore creative potential, modern digital tools, and ways to engage people in artistic activities — regardless of their previous experience or skills.

One of the topics discussed was the creative journey from a simple pencil sketch on paper to a digital 2D and 3D model. Every creative process starts with a first idea — often just a few lines on a sheet of paper. But as that idea takes shape, there are always things to test, rethink, adjust or try differently. And that is where creativity really happens. Through experimentation and exploration, a simple 2D idea gradually takes on a new dimension and becomes a 3D object.

The round table also placed a special focus on the concept of “Hidden Creativity.” It highlights a simple but powerful idea: creativity is not reserved for professional artists. Everyone can be part of the creative process — regardless of their education, professional background or previous experience. Sometimes, all it takes is curiosity and the willingness to try something new.

That is why the EdAH project events are more than just workshops. They are spaces for experimentation, learning, sharing experiences and discovering new possibilities, where everyone can follow their own creative journey: idea  → sketch  → 2D → 3D  → finished creation.
