Forum “Tourist Cities and Regions. Results of 3 years of crisis management in the hospitality sector”

On December 19-20, King Danylo University will host the forum “Tourist Cities and Regions. Results of 3 years of crisis management in the hospitality sector”.

The event is being organized by the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine, Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, and King Daniel University as part of the National Tourism Summit project.

The discussion will focus on the state of infrastructure for people with disabilities and the impact of inclusive tourism on the economic development of the region, sustainable development of tourism in communities, implementation of initiatives to preserve natural landscapes, development of medical tourism in the country with a focus on rehabilitation of the military, and future prospects offered by the growth of this area, including the economy and job creation.

The event will also feature a barrier-free map “City Without Borders: Tourism” created jointly with the State Agency for Tourism Development and LUN City NGO. The map will show accommodation facilities where certain steps have already been taken to ensure free access for people with limited mobility.
