#IFSynergy New opportunities for water quality control in Ivano-Frankivsk

As part of the“IFSynergy – Cross-Border Cooperation in SMART Water Supply Management in the Cities of Ivano-Frankivsk and Siedlce”, implemented under the Interreg Next Poland-Ukraine programme, the municipal enterprise “Ivano-Frankivskvodotekhprom” received a specialized vehicle and modern equipment for water quality control.

The specialized vehicle is used to quickly respond to emergencies in the water supply system. It'll make sure emergency teams can get around easily, enables faster on-site interventions, and helps restore services more efficiently, directly contributing to the reliability of water supply for residents.

The modern spectrometer will be used for water quality analysis and allows precise measurement of key physico-chemical parameters. This equipment strengthens laboratory capacity, supports continuous monitoring of drinking water quality, and enables timely detection of potential deviations, ensuring higher environmental and sanitary safety standards.

The combination of technical solutions for emergency response and high-precision laboratory analysis is an important element in the implementation of SMART approaches in the field of water resource management and urban infrastructure modernization.
