#IFSynergy Modern technologies for water supply in Ivano-Frankivsk!

As part of the project “IFSynergy - Cross-border cooperation in SMART management of water supply systems in Siedlce and Ivano-Frankivsk,” which is being implemented under the Interreg Next Poland-Ukraine 2021-2027 cross-border cooperation program, tablets and special clothing were purchased for employees of the Municipal Enterprise Ivano-Frankivskvodotekhprom!

These are just the first results of international cooperation, which implements modern SMART solutions for managing water supply systems in Ivano-Frankivsk and Siedlce.

The project will also install a monitoring system that will allow real-time viewing of water losses at each pumping station. This will help to respond to emergencies in a timely manner and reduce resource consumption. A spectrometer will also be purchased to monitor water quality, which will allow for the assessment of water supply safety and increase residents' trust in the services provided by the Municipal Enterprise Ivano-Frankivskvodotekhprom.

In addition, the enterprise will receive an emergency vehicle, which will allow for a rapid response to emergencies and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the water supply.

These results were made as a result of the productive cooperation between the cities of Siedlce (Poland) and Ivano-Frankivsk, the exchange of experience, and the implementation of advanced technologies. The project demonstrates how cross-border partnerships can bring tangible benefits to communities and improve the efficiency and safety of urban utility systems.

The team continues to work on the implementation of the next stages of the project to make the water supply in Ivano-Frankivsk even more modern, transparent, and reliable for residents.
