#IFSynergy Workshop for Homeowners Association Managers. Clean Water – a Healthy Planet

On April 16, 2026, the first workshop for HOA managers took place within the project “IFSynergy – Cross-Border Cooperation in SMART Management of Water Supply Systems in Siedlce and Ivano-Frankivsk” implemented under the Interreg NEXT Poland–Ukraine 2021–2027 Programme. The event was held at the HOA “Kytaiska Stina” and brought together active residents and managers interested in the topics of rational water use and water quality.

During the meeting, participants discussed the importance of water supply systems for the city and the challenges they face today. Particular attention was paid to issues of water consumption and SMART management, including problems related to outdated infrastructure, water losses, and the need to modernize pumping stations. Participants also discussed how modern approaches can improve energy efficiency and ensure more predictable system management. 

A separate session focused on water quality and safety - from the water treatment process to emergency response. Participants learned how contamination risks are minimized and what measures are taken to ensure that the water supplied to homes meets all standards.

The topic of reducing water consumption was equally important. During the discussion, the role of residents in conserving resources and fostering environmental awareness was emphasized. After all, even small daily actions can have a significant impact on water efficiency.

The event concluded with a summary and a Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to discuss current issues and share their own experiences.
