#INSPIRE October 14 - Environmental Education Day!

Environmental education begins not only with textbooks but also with the first observations of nature, small discoveries, and everyday habits that foster a responsible attitude towards the environment.
Today, as environmental challenges become increasingly evident, it is especially important to teach children to understand nature, appreciate its diversity, and recognize their own role in protecting it.
This approach lies at the heart of the INSPIRE project - “Inclusive and Developmental Spaces for Progressive, Innovative and Responsive Education”, implemented under the Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine Programme 2021–2027.
As part of the project, inclusive educational spaces are being developed in Ivano-Frankivsk and Romania, where nature becomes an integral part of the learning process. Therapeutic gardens, sensory areas, practical environmental activities, and outdoor exploration help children discover the world around them through hands-on experience.
Our goal is to make environmental education accessible to every child, regardless of their individual needs, and to create an environment where learning, development, and care for nature complement one another.
After all, environmental awareness begins in childhood. And every small discovery today is a step towards a more sustainable and responsible future!
