#INSPIRE Exchanging experiences to promote inclusive education

2026.06.17

As part of the INSPIRE project – Inclusive and Developmental Spaces for Progressive, Innovative and Adaptive Education, implemented under the Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine 2021–2027 Programme, the first day of an experience exchange took place in Ivano-Frankivsk with the participation of representatives from Ukraine and Romania.

The program began with a study visit to the Center for Alternative Therapies at the City Children’s Clinical Hospital. Participants learned about modern therapeutic approaches used in working with children, examined specialized equipment, and discussed opportunities for integrating therapeutic methods into the educational process. Particular attention was paid to creating a comfortable environment for the development and support of children with special educational needs.

This was followed by a visit to the “New Energy” Science City, where participants explored an innovative educational space, interactive learning zones, and modern approaches to teaching science subjects. During the meeting, participants discussed opportunities for applying practical experience and research methods in teaching, as well as the role of environmental education in fostering a conscious attitude toward the environment.

The first day of the exchange provided an excellent opportunity for professional dialogue, learning about successful practices, and strengthening cooperation among project partners to develop a modern, inclusive, and child-centered educational environment.
