#INSPIRE Online Workshop "The Enchanted Garden of Amulets"
As part of the INSPIRE - Inclusive and Nurturing Spaces for Progressive, Innovative, and Responsive Education, implemented under the Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine 2021–2027 programme, an online workshop was held for children aged 7–10 from the Ion Pillat Special Vocational and Technical School in Dorogoy and the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council’s Municipal Children’s Environmental Station.
The online workshop "The Enchanted Garden of Amulets" provided a space for communication, creativity and support, where the children could feel part of a single, friendly community. Right from the start, participants actively got to know one another, shared their interests and took part in the interactive exercise "Pass on the warmth to a leaf", which helped to create an atmosphere of trust and openness.
During the workshop, particular attention was paid to the creative aspect. The children created protective amulets out of clay, using natural materials such as leaves, grasses and flowers. Through this activity, they not only developed their imagination and creativity, but also learnt to express their emotions, hold onto positive thoughts and share warmth. This format of work also helps to reduce anxiety and foster a sense of security.
The session concluded with a "Tree of Impressions" reflection, where each participant could share their emotions and mood, as well as a symbolic "Hand of Gratitude" activity, which united everyone in a shared gesture of support and friendship.
Such events prove once again that learning can be not only useful, but also warm, emotional and inspiring, even in an online format.
