#INSPIRE Harmony with nature and family, a workshop in the Vovchynetskyi Hill
As part of the INSPIRE project – Inclusive and Developmental Spaces for Progressive, Innovative and Adaptive Education, implemented under the Interreg NEXT Romania–Ukraine 2021–2027 programme, a workshop was held in the Vovchynetskyi Hill for schoolchildren and parents.
The event brought children and adults together in a shared space of nature, creativity and environmental learning. During an eco-walk, participants explored the natural environment of the Vovchynetskyi Hill, learnt about plants and discovered more about the importance of preserving ecosystems. Teachers talked about the interconnections in nature, the significance of plants and a responsible attitude towards the environment.
A special part of the event was the “Wreath-Talisman” workshop, during which children and their parents wove wreaths from natural materials, learnt about Ukrainian traditions and the symbolism of plants, and shared warm wishes with one another.
Participants also took part in an interactive game called “Mission: Survive Together”, where teams of children and adults worked together to find solutions in simulated situations, learnt to work as a team, make eco-friendly decisions and interact responsibly with nature.
