#InterCities “STAR CITY”: Music, Lights, and the Incredible Atmosphere of the Festival’s Evening Opening

2026.05.08

The evening program of the “STAR CITY” festival kicked off with a special musical performance by SI Process and a spectacular light show by the “Show Service” team, which served as a vibrant prelude to the festival.

The event took place as part of the project “Intercultural consciousness of multinational cities: tolerance of new generations ,” implemented under the Interreg VI A NEXT Hungary Slovakia Romania Ukraine 2021–2027 program.

Festival guests had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of contemporary electronic sounds from SI Process—a project by Stanislav Ivashchenko, known as “The Drum Machine Man.” His performance combined the energy of live sound, rhythmic electronic textures, and his signature “Organic Electro-Breakbeat” style, creating a unique musical atmosphere.

A spectacular light show by the “Show Service” team added a special touch to the evening. Light installations and visual imagery, inspired by the symbols and architecture of Ivano-Frankivsk, transformed the palace grounds into an open-air art stage.

The atmosphere of the evening was incredible and truly impressive—music, light, architecture, and the emotions of the guests came together in a single artistic performance that left an unforgettable impression on everyone present.

The evening brought together city residents, festival guests, and international partners, creating an atmosphere of unity, creativity, and open cultural dialogue.
