#InterCities Intercultural dialogue through the preservation of wooden heritage in Sighetu Marmației

On 7 August, a three-day forum on wood restoration techniques started as part of the InterCities project, implemented under the Interreg VI A NEXT Hungary Slovakia Romania Ukraine programme. In the picturesque Maramures Village Museum (‘Mihai Dăncuș’ Village Museum), participants from Ivano-Frankivsk, together with partners from Romania, took part in a workshop aimed at getting acquainted and live demonstrations of the work of certified craftsmen, such as making shingles and hewing logs with an axe.
