#InterCities Technical forum on wood restoration
August 7–9, 2025
Maramureș Village Museum “Mihai Dăncuș”, Sighetu Marmației
Three days full of energy, ideas, and knowledge exchange!
Specialists from Romania and Ukraine, both from the public and private sectors, discussed current solutions for the conservation of wooden heritage, presented case studies, and shared models of responsible intervention. Practical workshops, presentation sessions, and debates brought together knowledge, inspiration, and passion for safeguarding this unique heritage.
The atmosphere was friendly and vibrant, with participants eager to learn from each other. Beyond the professional content, the forum was also an opportunity to build bridges of collaboration across borders, laying the foundation for future joint projects.
