#InterCities Third stakeholder meeting of the InterCities project!

As part of the project “Intercultural Consciousness of Multinational Cities: Tolerance of New Generations", implemented within the Interreg VI A NEXT Hungary–Slovakia–Romania–Ukraine programme, the third stakeholder meeting was held.

Volodymyr Haidar welcomed the participants and briefly summarized the results of the project's activities over the last period. In particular, he noted the success of archaeological excavations, which attracted considerable public attention, as well as the real excitement caused by public lectures and educational events for students. 

During the meeting, the vision for the future Intercultural Dialogue Center was discussed - a space that should become a place for mutual understanding, cooperation, and lively communication between different cultures. They talked about the functional, visual, and conceptual aspects of the future Center, as well as how ethnic communities can be represented in urban space and get involved in preparing for the InterCities Festival.

Participants shared ideas on how best to showcase cultural heritage through music, literature, theater performances, art exhibitions, traditional cuisine, folk art, and contemporary cultural formats. 

The meeting ended with a special tour of the archaeological excavations, where participants were able to see the latest finds with their own eyes and learn about unique discoveries that deepen our understanding of the history of Ivano-Frankivsk. 

This meeting was another step towards creating an open space for cooperation, where history, culture, and modernity come together to form a shared vision of a multicultural future for Ivano-Frankivsk.
