#JCulture The final press conference within the project
On May 23, our partners from the Maramureş Museum held the final press conference as part of the project "Research and preservation of Jewish cultural heritage in the border area" (JCulture), which was attended by representatives of the project team from Ivano-Frankivsk. The event was held at the Elie Wiesel Memorial House - Museum of Jewish Culture in Maramureş, the project activity of the Romanian side was aimed at restoring and expanding the exposition.
Project managers from Sziget and Ivano-Frankivsk talked about the implementation and results of the project in both cities, about the impact of the project on the preservation of cultural heritage and the development of partnership relations between the two cities. The participants also expressed their gratitude for the joint work and readiness for further cooperation, in particular, within the framework of joint projects within the framework of cross-border cooperation programs.
The project "Research and preservation of Jewish cultural heritage in the border area" (JCulture) is implemented within the framework of the Cross-border Cooperation Programme of the EIS Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020, financed by the European Union. The responsible partner for the implementation of project activities in Ivano-Frankivsk is the Department of Investment Policy of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council.
