Competition for receiving micro-grants for business recovery!

Czech humanitarian organization “А person is in trouble”

with the financial support of the American people

announces a competition to provide microgrants for the restoration of both displaced and local businesses that suffered as a result of hostilities after February 24, 2022, conducts or plans to conduct their activities in the Lviv or Ivano-Frankivsk regions, is committed to business recovery and has the potential to create work place.

      The purpose of the project is to finance the recovery of the affected business.

      The microgrant project involves:

  • provision of grant funds on a competitive basis in the amount of:

- up to $1000 for individual entrepreneurs who do not use the labor of hired persons or have no more than one hired employee

*The size of the grant will depend on the submitted proposal and budget

- up to $5,000 for micro, small and medium enterprises with two or more employees

      Terms of participation in the project:

  • state registration of entrepreneurial activity;
  • proven previous business experience;
  • implementation of current or planned activities on the territory of Lviv or Ivano-Frankivsk regions;
  • all activities within the application should be scheduled for a period not exceeding six months;
  • micro, small and medium enterprises that have already received similar business grants from the state or another organization can participate in the competition, but will not have priority in the selection process.
  • training activities and mentoring support for selected participants (compulsory passage);
  • financial assistance to reimburse preschool child care for the most vulnerable families headed by women in the amount of up to $300/month * for 3 months.

*Payments will be made in UAH equivalent at the official rate of the NBU.
