#NEF New Economy of Ivano-Frankivsk is one of the winners of the Ukrainian Enterprise Promotion Awards

The New Economy of Ivano-Frankivsk project has won the Ukrainian Enterprise Promotion Awards in the category “Promoting the Entrepreneurial Spirit” and won the national stage of the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA).

The UEPA Award is designed to recognize those who promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises at the national, regional and local levels.

119 applicants applied for participation in the competition, and 6 projects won in different categories

In addition, two projects were honored and will represent Ukraine at the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) in November 2024 in Hungary.

They are the New Economy of Ivano-Frankivsk and the Climate Innovation Vouchers project implemented by the Ukrainian Network of Energy Innovations Grinkubator.

The project consortium and our entire team are extremely pleased to receive this award - for 2.5 years we have been creating conditions, programs, and infrastructure solutions that make it possible to create new products and new formats of cooperation between scientists and business.

We provide consulting for business - more than 560 consultations have already been held. We assist in finding funding and in 2023 provided 20 innovation vouchers for entrepreneurs in the amount of UAH 60,000 each. We organize events to establish connections between businesses, scientists, and inventors. In 2023, Ivano-Frankivsk hosted the European Research and Innovation Days for the first time, the largest innovation event in the city. About 400 participants attended the event, and this year the event will be held for the second time. In July 2024, the Pole Center for Development and Product Design was launched, a space of more than 1,000 square meters where entrepreneurs, inventors, developers, and scientists have the opportunity to create new products with high added value from idea to market.

The project is being implemented by a consortium of partners, each of whom strengthens the project according to their expertise. Our partners are the Executive Committee of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, the Promprylad.Renovation innovation center, the METALAB urban laboratory, the PPV economic development agency, and the Teple Misto platform. Synergy and cooperation between partners is one of the factors behind the success of all our initiatives to support business and develop the innovation ecosystem in Ivano-Frankivsk.
