#ParksMatter The last day of June is time for a brief summary!
For many children, the end of June symbolises the end of the preschool year, and for the team, it is an important moment to take stock of the first stage of educational activities within the framework of the project "City Parks Matter - A new approach to urban greenery management in Ivano-Frankivsk and Rzeszów (ParksMatter)".
Over the past two months, the team has visited five kindergartens in Rzeszów:
- State Kindergarten No. 4
- State Kindergarten No. 7
- State Kindergarten No. 11
- State Kindergarten No. 21
- State Kindergarten No. 38
A total of 675 children took part in the classes! Together, they discovered how important greenery is in urban spaces, learned about trees and other plants, as well as birds, insects and other animals that can be found in the city - all in the form of interesting field trips
Thanks for this wonderful, green time - for your openness, smiles and questions that no scientist would be ashamed of!
And what's next?
For the team, it's time to prepare for the next meetings - classes for students of Rzeszów schools will start in September.
Autumn promises to be green and inspiring!
New topics, new groups and more interesting conversations about a city close to nature await us. See you after the holidays!
