Meeting of the working group of the project: "City parks matter – A new approach to the management of urban greenery in Ivano-Frankivsk and Rzeszow

On April 10 and 11, 2025, a working group meeting was held to prepare the development of a joint solution - the Strategic Plan for the Management of Urban Greenery in Ivano-Frankivsk and Rzeszow.

It will be a document defining the standards for maintaining greenery in city parks and the main guidelines for work related to the maintenance and care of trees, shrubs, flowerbeds, lawns, etc.

The conference was attended by representatives of both cities – together with experts in the field of dendrology and environmental protection. Representatives of the cities presented presentations on urban greenery, concepts for maintaining greenery, and discussed the scope of the Strategic Plan for managing urban greenery in Ivano-Frankivsk and Rzeszow and divided tasks.

On the second day, a tour of Rzeszow was organized to present green places, including the status of the revitalization of the Park in Słocina.
