Within the framework of the RO-UA Partnership for Climate Change Mitigation project, we are promoting and informing the public about climate change, renewable energy development, and energy efficiency. Most post-Soviet countries are very energy-intensive. For example, in Ukraine, the specific energy consumption is 3 times higher than in the EU. This means that our country consumes 3 times more energy per unit of GDP. On the one hand, this is due to the country's particular economic structure - the economy is poorly diversified and mainly focused on intensive energy production and the related processing industry.

On the other hand, there is a huge need to modernize equipment in almost all sectors of the economy. Outdated equipment and old technologies are one of the sources of energy losses. Energy efficiency is not an advertising trick or an environmentalist's gimmick, but a simple commercial way to achieve profitability and strengthen financial position. In general, energy efficiency improvements lead to lower energy costs, higher profitability, improved product quality, increased competitiveness and company value, and generally a positive company image. That is why it is worth promoting the implementation of energy-efficient solutions both at individual enterprises and at the state level.
