#Part4CM The topic of energy efficiency has recently gained considerable popularity, and we are also considering it as part of the project
The topic of energy efficiency has recently gained considerable popularity, and we are also discussing it within the framework of the RO-UA Partnership for Climate Change Mitigation project. In fact, the topic of energy efficiency is not new. Many international projects supported by the European Commission, Tacis, Thermie, USAID, and other organizations have made energy efficiency a recognizable term since the 90s. Many economically developed countries already know and consider energy efficiency, energy savings and emission reductions as an obvious condition for the competitiveness of companies and the availability of affordable and clean energy supply in the future.
It is well known that improving energy efficiency allows countries to overcome the pressures of energy dependence, addressing issues of unreliable energy supply, inequality, high energy prices and bills, and environmental and health damage. Business owners and managers also realize that energy efficiency is the key to a company's competitiveness in the open market.
Today, the efficient use of energy resources is the most important and economically feasible, but at the same time, the least used and least understood way to improve both everyone's living standards and the environment. Therefore, it is worth promoting the dissemination of information and the application of energy efficiency principles in practice.
The RO-UA Partnership for Climate Change Mitigation project is funded by the European Union through the European Neighborhood Instrument and co-financed by the countries participating in the ENI CBC Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 Program.
